My work focuses on the act of translation,  I am interested in the loss that occurs between the act of looking and that of painting. Through this refiguring associations and narratives develope and reveal the struggle between memory and forgetting.




Paula Day  lives in London,  qualified from Central St Martins College of Art and Design  with  a BA Hons in Fine Art in 2008 and is part of the artist collective at Collective Studios Wandsworth.
